Professional References for Secretary:

You can add as much experience and capabilities to your secretary resume as you want but keep in mind that sooner or later, the hiring committee or your employer will ask for references. You might be asked to give names of your former employers, companies you have worked in and the recommendation letters you have from your previous bosses. Unlike other jobs, recommendation letters are given preference over references in secretary hiring process. While you were working as a secretary, you had the chance to work closely to a senior or executive in the organization which means they had the opportunity to observe your performance closely. It makes more sense to get a recommendation letter from your superior than adding his or her name to the reference list.
