The Lively Arts And Entertainment Scene In Singapore
Long ago, someone tries to convince me that the Singapore Arts and entertainment was anything but boring, then I refuse to believe them and tell them to start drinking more coffee. But it was definitely a few years ago, and Singapore has really been a city in poor light, a dynamic arts and entertainment, whose reputation throughout the region and the Asia-Pacific has changed resonance.
Lets talk about the arts and heritage. The National Arts Council and several other institutions have taken their efforts together and really created a renaissance city almost nothing. Well, we not only buildings, but we have quality acts, theatrical performances and exhibitions in the world. The National Museum and Heritage Gallery of few places that boast of Asia and the world exhibitions taken the best and brightest students from neighboring countries. As a tourist attraction to draw the architecture of these places and more, is an achievement, but as a purely intellectual attraction of these museums have been creative, innovative and unique, exhibitions and performances, indoors and outdoors, which exceeded inspired lots of laughter, applause and wonderment.
Just look at the Esplanade, billed as "Theaters on the Bay, there are more parts than a few hundred times, playing recitals and concerts as part of its massive walls and several theaters in a year. He is the host of the Festival celebrated mosaic and some internationally renowned and locally produced shows. Ian McAllan honored performance "Durian" with his presence in a best-seller and a record of King Lear.
The nightlife and entertainment scene is no exception either, with more than 300 bars, lounges and clubs around Singapore. Can you imagine that on an island only 40 miles wide and 32 miles? How the entertainment scene manages to pack in the amount of clubs in a small space? Well, it's true, if you want if you sit back and sing karaoke to relax in a lounge, sipping a beer and listen to a dance band live, or even all night, as, there is a place where you can go. Singapore offers more than 4 renowned local breweries and micro-international, with over 200 different varieties of beer sold in Singapore to date. Festivals and events, simply add them to resume with limited recent Oktober Fest this year with one of the biggest and best beer festival in Asia, enjoying a wide selection of beers on sale.
Concerts? Of course! Big names like Eric Clapton, Rob Stewart and pop bands like Green Day and Linkin Park have all taken place on this island with their voices and there is certainly more to come with major festivals such as WOMAD you land back on our beach !
